ZAMFARA RESCUE MISSION; SO FAR SO GOOD
The Zamfara state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) cast a vote of confidence on the State Governor, His Excellency, Dr. Dauda Lawal as we are convincingly satisfied with his leadership style.
PDP as a political party with masses at heart and with people’s oriented manifesto is optimistic that the administration of Governor Dauda Lawal will deliver diligently and effectively with Allah (SWT) as his guide and director. This is evidently seen in all the required mechanisms put in place to drive all sectors of human endeavor in the state to work toward transforming the state in all ramifications.
Zamfara is a promising state, but unfortunately, it suffered a lot of unwanted happenings in the hands of some unpatriotic politicians who only value their ulterior motives more than development of the state and its populace thereby destroying all sectors of human development that the present administration of His Excellency, Dr. Dauda Lawal is fixing them gradually with all sense of responsibility and commitment inline with his agenda “Rescue Zamfara Mission.”
We at the party level have carefully observed with utmost appreciation and gratitude to our creator Allah (SWT) for blessing the good people of Zamfara state with a productive leader, Governor, Dauda Lawal. Indeed, the modern techniques he is using to change the narratives in Zamfara, will make it an enviable state in the country.
As against the opposition, who chooses distraction as a tool to divert the attention of the present administration’s agenda of rebuilding Zamfara State, therefore, we are encouraging His Excellency to concentrate more on the good work he has started and never relent in his laudable efforts he is making to repair all damages implicated on the state by the narrow-minded politicians who always place their selfish interest over and above that of the masses.
To govern the state effectively, His Excellency, Dauda Lawal prepared a strong cabinet consisting of technocrats who excelled in their various fields of specialization and accepted the clarion call to pay back in serving the state as honourable commissioners, Special advisers, and special assistants among others whose impacts are now visible to all right-thinking members of our communities.
So far, the issue of insecurity in the state is receiving more strategic attention. We are witnessing a reduction in banditry activities in the state following the Governor’s constant engagement with all the stakeholders in the security of the state at national and local levels, particularly, gracious approval to recruit 4200 Civilian JTF to complement the effort of the conventional securities; urban renewal projects, especially, in the state’s capital to make it conducive and attractive and also reduce idleness in our youths thereby providing them with direct and indirect employment opportunities.
The government also engages in providing a good roads network, potable drinking water supply, and other developmental projects that have a direct impact on the lives of the good people of the state.
Other critical areas that Governor Dauda Lawal is giving a facelift are healthcare delivery, through a modified and free medical outreach across the 14 local government areas of the state that includes free medication/surgery, feeding, and transport allowances; this is beside other efforts to sanitize governance of the state via restructuring of Ministries, Departments, and Agencies to block unnecessary expenses and leakages.
PDP in Zamfara state under the leadership of its Ag. Chairman, Moukhtar Muhammad Lugga will not forget the extraordinary intervention of His Excellency in settling four months outstanding salaries of the state civil servants inherited from the immediate past administration of Hon. Bello Mohammed Matawalle that left the state Treasury almost empty with lots of burdens in all sectors.
We are appealing to the general public, especially, the good people of Zamfara state to disregard any destructive criticism from enemies of the state and continue praying and be supportive of the policies and programs of the present administration to succeed as well as to be watchful of the politicians who celebrate killings, kidnapping and other atrocities that His Excellency is seriously fighting to restore normalcy in all nooks and crannies of the state.
Similarly, we are urging the Governor not to be distracted by the unholy acts of the opposition in the state. He should, rather, continue with his commendable policy of accommodating constructive criticism from his teeming supporters and the opposition.
Insha Allahu Zamfara State will regain its lost glory.
