Just few hours after assuming office as the fifth democratically elected Governor of Katsina State, Dr. Dikko Umaru Radda wasted no time in making his initial personnel selections.
In a personally signed statement, the following appointments were announced: Architect Ahmed Musa Dangiwa as the Secretary to the Government of the State, Alh. Jabiru Tsauri as the Chief of Staff, Barr. Muhtar Aliyu Saulawa as the Deputy Chief of Staff, and Alh. Abdullahi Aliyu Turaji as the Principal Private Secretary to the Governor.
Governor Radda also approved several other appointments, including Mallam Maiwada Danmallam as the Director General of Media, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed as the Chief Press Secretary, Malam Miqdad Isah as the Senior Special Assistant (Digital Media), and Abubakar Badaru Jikamshi as the Senior Special Assistant (Print and Electronic Media).
In addition, Alh. Bishir Maikano was appointed as the Senior Special Assistant (Protocol) to the Deputy Governor’s Office, Alh. Hassan Ibrahim Danhaire as the Senior Special Assistant (Special Duties) to the Deputy Governor’s Office, and Ahmed Rabiu as the Official Photographer to the Governor.
Governor Radda extended his congratulations to the newly appointed individuals and encouraged them to collaborate with him in improving the state’s fortunes.
