Governor of Taraba State, Dr Agbu Kefas, on Tuesday, 30th of April 2024, swore in Four Special Advisers, two Members of the State Judicial Service Commission and as well inaugurated Chairmen and Members of both the Muslim and Christian Pilgrims Welfare Boards.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Agbu Kefas said his administration is going to create an enabling environment for political officeholders to exercise their talents and bring their experiences to bear for the progress of the state.
According to the Governor, he is going to create opportunities for the people of the state to develop themselves even as he has made up his mind to give to the state what belongs to it.
The Governor noted that soon he will clock One year in office and that in his second year in office, the state will witness something new, warning that he will not condone laxity.
One of the appointees, Hon Kabiru Jalo, who spoke on behalf of others, thanked the Governor for calling on them to support the Governor’s efforts to develop the state.
He pledged on behalf of other members to give their best and deliver on their mandates.
The occasion was well attended by family, friends and well-wishers of the appointees.
